I've been trying to view a car for the past two weeks and have been unable to do so since the seller always has a reason for cancellation. I assume the car has a big issue that has to be addressed, therefore the delays. The seller is pleasant, but the service hasn't been good

Dear Kasim, Thank you for your feedback. Having reviewed our messages we are disappointed at your stance and assumptions you have made about our business, services and vehicles. Firstly, we run viewings by appointment only to ensure our vehicles are presented in the best possible condition and you have our undivided attention and unlimited time to view and test drive any of our vehicles. You initially wanted to view this vehicle on a weekend when we were away from the business due to holiday. This was not a cancelled appointment as you have stated. We therefore arranged a viewing for the following weekend as you insisted you could only travel to us on a weekend. The vehicle had already been inspected and serviced prior to advertising online and therefore we can guarantee there were no 'big issues to be addressed'. The night before your viewing, my wife went into labour and to cut a long story short, we lost our newborn baby boy. Amongst everything, we still made efforts to message you to inform you we would have no choice but to cancel you appointment for the following morning. We also advised we could forward a video and rearrange your viewing once we were able to do so. You responded to us as follows: 'Hi Gavin, no problem, family comes first. if you could send me a video, I'll take a look'. The same morning we forwarded you a video of the vehicle in excellent condition as requested and invited you to come take a look the following weekend. Our messages were ignored. Since you left us numerous bad reviews, we contacted you explaining our situation in full and invited you to review your comments. You initially agreed to review your comments on our website but again we have been ignored. As a small business trying to strive in difficult times, we rely heavily on feedback and customer service. We are disappointed that we have had to share our personal circumstances online to maintain our 5 star rating and exceptional customer services because of assumptions made of our vehicles. It's very well that customers are able to leave honest feedback and their opinion on our sites and your comments are duly noted. However, given the circumstances of this review, we have felt the need to respond in full with our side of the story. Buy with confidence! Extremely happy with my new car purchased from these guys. Genuine, honest, trustworthy and stick to promises without hassle. Extremely accommodating when needing to view and collect my car both at unsociable hours. Serious pride taken both in the cars they sell and on customer service. After a recent nightmare with a previous car dealer even had time to advise me on what to do next. Restored my faith in used car dealerships mate. Would 100% come back to purchase another car in the future!

Enquired at GT Automotive for our new car. The team were extremely helpful and knowledgeable from the onset. I arranged a viewing to suit my needs and the car was just as described. Also managed to extend our warranty for 6 months free of charge. Nothing is too much trouble for these guys. Will be back for our daughters car shortly!
